Sex Education: A Way to Help Lessen Population and Prevent Suffering and Uncared Children

Knowledge is the first line of defense. Truth and acknowledgement of reality are the factors that can set us free. A cancer can only be cured if we know that it exists or if we know that we have them. The earlier we acknowledge and we know that we have a cancer, the more curable it can be. The more we ignore a cancer or the later we act upon it, the cancer cells multiply and the cancer becomes acute.

The same is true with Sex education. If children be educated about sex, it would be their first step to face reality. If youngsters realize the consequences of their actions, their would be lesser unwanted pregnancies and lesser thrown fetuses! Moreover, the use of contraceptives would lessen the fast population growth in the Philippines and would at least ease poverty.
The Sex Education in the Philippines is very difficult to succeed though. It is because of the ever-present and ever-opposing catholic church in the country. HYPOCRISY and HIPOCRISY again! I am a Catholic and sometimes I regret being one. I strongly believe in God and I am sure God wants the best for its creations. No sufferings, like a father to his children, the best is what the father desires.

Children/Youngsters will always F-CK! If they want and the mere absence of contraception and the possibility of pre-marital pregnancy don’t stop them from F__iNG so! The church is a blind duck! It chooses to protect it’s unreasonable ethics! I am disappointed to think that the church wants children to beg and be born without a bright future in exchange of educating youngsters about contraceptives and encouraging them to use one.

Is sex a sin? Pre-marital sex is a sin? And how about many priests with children?
If having sex is a sin, why do you exist in this world then? Your parents are sinners! And how many percent couple marry with a big bellied bride because she is pregnant? Why the church marry them anyway? They are sinner, RIGHT? What is the difference? They too F-cked before marriage!

And sex education be let to parents? And do you know how ignorant Filipino parents are when it comes to this topic? And because of the teachings of the church, do you know how malicious Filipinos have become when sex is the topic? How many mothers in the Philippines would answer the correct answer? The usual answer a child gets when asking about his/her origin, is that she just came out one day! Education s the best answer! Knowledge is freedom! Knowledge and truth must be promoted. If a youngster know better, he/she has a bright future. He/she would not be a burden to society and government.

Ohhh…and one more thing! If that youngster succeeds and earn much someday, HE/SHE WILL DONATE to the church, so I guess, it’s an investment, Father? Think about it!

Some readings and basies came from LifeSiteNews .

  1. I love Philippines,
In this modern world, human being faceing a lot of new chellenge.
This is the true fact, we can not deny it. We need to face the reality that children are now able to access to sex-related materials due to high curiosity at their age.
Proper sex education is really important in the cyper world.
Without proper education and simply ignorance would not solve the problems like aids, sex dieases.
School can play an important rule to provide enough coverage on sex-related topics so as to let then have the proper knowledge.
The topics must cover the following:
    1. How our body work? How the process? How the baby come out?
    2. The danger of unprotected sex?
    3. How we can get sex dieases and aids?
    4. The danger of having sex before marriage?
Of course, we should not encourage sex before marriage. We need to provide consultancy services to those who do not know how to handle all these.
This is my little thought, if I go for details, it will be lengthy page.
Thanks for visit my cbox so as to let me access your site easily and able to make a comment.
    Friend, have a good day.

  2. i stongly agree with you po...phew!

know what? i have known what sex is only when i reached High School... it's true, i swear! waaaa... whenever i ask my mom before where did i come from.. she would just point her stomach and say "you came here..." and when we asked our grade shcool teacher how we became humans, she would just say "the egg and the sperm cells unite and then form a baby inside the womb of your mother"... ofcorz we are sooo clueless(ang alam lang namin is that the eggcell comes from the female and the sperm from male) that time but we care not... bata pa kasi eh...
and now i realized how important sex education is... i have friends who became preggy at their young age... tsk tsk.. kakaawa... 'yong iba hindi pa pinanagutan.. haaayyyzzz... mabuti na lang at nasa tama akong pag-iisip, kung hind eh nanay na ako ngayon...whew!

i still can't understand why the church is depriving youngsters to have a knowledge about the thing na kung tutuusin nakakatulong din naman 'yon. dapat kasi and simbahan gumaguide lang, nagtuturo ng tama at mali. they should open the minds of the people about the reality so that the people will know what to do and what should be done to correct things. now if the person chooses the wrong path,eh wala ng magagawa ang church don because he has his own freewill to do things...

  10. Thanks blue. Actually, most of us sided with this sex education stuff! Let the traditional old who are more hypocrites with the facts, the youngsters now have better understanding of the world and better educated, yet, their ideas are forced to be controlled still!

    Very good view, Blue!

  19. ♥ w0000oot.. my turn.. well.. how about putting der knowledge n d act..? like related learning EXPERIENCE.. hahaha... u know wat i min... hikhik..
♥ for me sex is not a sin.. but premarital sex is.. i dont care if wer n modern world.. still its outside marriage...
♥ Sex education is gud.. if we cnt stop youngsters(like me ;)) from doing it, at least dey use contracptives... to avoid unwanted prgnancies and abortion... as for the catholic's stand, yeah dey disagree.. coz dey are taking d literal meaning of contra(against) ceptive(life) as n against life... as for the range of sex education, it must not only state the use of contracptives and control methods but also include who, where and when to do it.. hahahha... lolz... nalingaw koh... ;)
♥COnclusion: premarital sex is sin.. but hu wudnt love it...? rofl... hahahahah...

--->btw, my comment is as long as a blog post.. ahehe.. i shud have make a trackback and not comment only.. but i wont make a post about sex now.. maybe later.. :D

  20. Hey April! You shocked me girl! hahaha! And ohhh...ano nga nalingaw man? Don't tell me Ilonggo ka man? Asus!

I see. It's a knowledge you gaveme huh... Only now I know the literal meaning of it. Thanks for sharing. I guess it's their point too...but most of the time, church just remain being so hypocrite. That's what I hate.

We all have our own principles, so whatever we believe in, it's up to us. But of course, we all know what is best for ourselves.

Actually, in that link i provided, the church was looking lapses in the suggested bill..but instead sana, they help, because we all know how poor filipino families are and sana ma educate na even in small things to start improving.

    ReplyDelete
  21. im bisaya.. :D anwyz.. about the bill, it was disaprroved coz they think that it is "promoting premarital sex with the use of contraceptives" and not "avoiding the sex act" which is partly true..
but i reli disagree the church statemnt that it is the "family's responsiblity to educate their children regrdng sex matters".. dey shud have realized that one of the reasons in indulging in premarital sex is the need for love and belongingness.. what if the family has no time for thier children...? the tendency is, they will look wat they need on other person..
that is why sex education must be provided in school and not only for the parents to teach..

  22. i am for sex educatio but do it to high schools to college studs not for elem schoolers. not only church will educate but also the parents and school teachers. the lesson that should NOT be covered the "how the act is done" and "how is the feeling of it" instead the teashers should insist that it is really abd to engage in such act because of virtue, responsibility, future and when is the proper time. in that way, sex education can be taught safely.
when i was in college, i had a toic like that. while she was discussn it she was so nervous and shy maybe coz she's still single. she wasnt prepared actually.
early pregnancy should not be blamed for lack of sex education IT SHOULD BE BLAMED FOR LACK OF VIRTUES, EDUCATION AND A SENSE OF DREAMING FOR A BRIGHTER FUTURE. if you observe, most of those engaged in such are those considered poor, OSY and those who do not have "DREAMS"
it should be blamed, most of all, to the parents.

  28. Hi April! I think you have a better understanding of this matter... You do discuss it very well as I have observed. As you have said, it might be promoting premarital sex... anyway, it's again the teachings of the church.....the church condemns this act but in case the bride marries pregnant, the church simply keeps quiet....what then?

Moreover, the church became the faultfinder. It never suggested improvements to the proposed law but simply blocked it blatantly...simple...well, what's new?

it was disaprroved coz they think that it is "promoting premarital sex with the use of contraceptives" and not "avoiding the sex act" which is partly true..
but i reli disagree the church statemnt that it is the "family's responsiblity to educate their children regrdng sex matters".. dey shud have realized that one of the reasons in indulging in premarital sex is the need for love and belongingness.. what if the family has no time for thier children...? the tendency is, they will look wat they need on other person..

  34. hi there ^__^

I totally agree with your post.

It's really not good that the topic sex is repressed to children/the youth. Even though we can control giving them no information at home or at school about sex, we can never control the other factors outside it. Factors like the media: internet, tv, mags, or even influences from their peers.

So if the society or school cannot give a good sex education, it should be discussed at home. In one way or another, kids will grow-up, get curious of things... so it's better if parents will guide them while their young, make them understand what is sex and the other factors that are related to it.

The church should not get in the way of these things. Sex is not a sin. It is the sole responsibility of the person how he uses sex.

We cannot control people what they want to do... and we cannot control the youngsters if they want to fck. Though sex education is the best solution for overpopulation and unwanted pregnancies. It is all about being knowledgable, knowing your limitation, and being responsible for your acts...

  35. Sex education is very important. I think we need more of it here in the U.S Too many children are exposing themselves to STD's simply because they don't totally understand the risks and consequences involved with their behavior.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Sex is one of God's gifts to mankind. It was His idea. It was designed for marriage to be enjoyed by the couple committed to each other, till death do them part.

But somewhere along the line, we messed up, we learned the distorted view of sex. We have pre-marital, extra marital, illicit sex, etc. Visuals abound in videos, internet, magazines, etc., suggesting sex out of marriage is normal. Western movies promote sex between two unengaged couples. That's how most of us are educated now. Distorted view of sex.

One reason is that, we did not learn it from our home, and not from schools. Teenagers are bombarded whether intentional or not. It just comes around uncontrolled purported by the media and advertisements from the TV, newspaper, etc. And the Catholic Church was suggesting, sex education at early young age is not right.

    What do you prefer?
